If you text someone on WhatsApp and the message is not delivered to them or if you can't make a video call to them, you can assume that the opposite user has blocked you. It may be a mistake, but you can find out if another user has blocked you on WhatsApp. 

Follow these 4 steps for ...

1. Last scene and profile picture
If you are blocked on WhatsApp, first check the last scene and profile photo of that contact. If the opposite user has blocked you, his online status, last scene and profile photo will not be visible. However, often these three things are kept hidden by people. So from the second step you can know the status of the block.

2. Blue ticks of the message
When you send a message to someone on WhatsApp, a 2 blue tick appears at the bottom of the message. If a user has blocked you, the message is not delivered. So there is only a single tick on the message.

3. Voice and video call
You can also tell if you are blocked by a video call. If you are blocked, you will not be able to make a video or voice call to the opposite user. All three steps so far may be due to a network problem or privacy setting.

4. Create a WhatsApp group
From this stage you can be sure that this is not a network error or privacy feature but the opposite user has actually blocked you. All you have to do is create a WhatsApp group. In this group you will have to add the contact for which you want to confirm whether you are a block in its list or not. If a message like 'couldn't add this contact on group' is displayed in the meantime, understand that the opposite user has blocked you.
